[jira] [Resolved] (CLOUDSTACK-2335) [UI] 'Acquire New IP' button missing in VPC network tier

Sowmya Krishnan resolved CLOUDSTACK-2335.
-----------------------------------------

    Resolution: Not A Problem

Since we don't acquire IPs specific to tiers in a VPC, this is not an issue. However, it's hard to figure out in the UI to perform this action. It's available when we click on VPC -> Configure -> and then, click on the "wheel" beside the VPC name, which in turn shows a list of actions like - IP address, Gateway etc. This more looks like a tool tip than a set of links to perform an action. Will file a separate improvement bug for that.

> Create VPC network and a tier.
> Click on Network -> Tier created -> View Ip Addresses ->
> Should display Acquire New IP button. This is missing if its a VPC tier.
> Able to perform AssociateIPAddr from API though, in the same VPC tier and is successful
> Not sure if it's related in any way to CLOUDSTACK-2333
