I was in a hurry and have made a PowerShell script (it is only relevant for Windows) which can do the dump.

I call it: tomcats.ps1

(I'll add more descriptions later)

Maybe it can be used as inspiration for:
  Tomcat9.exe //PS//foo

My job was to do major upgrade say from 8.0 to 9.0 for 120 Tomcat instances. The script helped to have minimum down time so we could do it within work hours.
