The commit 392443 included the fix to GERONIMO-1789 plus some other stuff.  The changes to KernelManagementHelper and SecurityRealmPortlet.loadModule need to be ported to HEAD.  Not sure if this will be done during the "great 1.1 to HEAD merge" or should be done separately.
