Step-hen  ;o),

I believe that the DependencyDescriptor should have a 

        isEqual = isEqual && m_key.equals( dep.m_key );        

as well in its equals() method, which equal checks the "Role".
I believe this could be behind some really nasty problems people using multple 
roles have or will have.
