where is SOAP message in the samples???

I am in the learning processes of SOAP. Went through "address" example end
to end, but not through the library codes. But I don't see any SOAP message
being passed from client to the component. My understanding is Soap message
has an envelope, a header and a body.
Is it done behind the scene by the libraries... ?
Am i missing something?( sure I am)
