Incidentally, I've tested this in 2.0.55 and gotten similar results.  It is a
minor issue, since it only applies to people who want to treat requests for the
IP address differently from requests for "unmatched" names.  But at minimum, it
is not documented correctly.  A quick skim of the vhost matching code was not
enough to make me confident in fixing the documentation.
