HiveConf initialize( ) method will read in the sidecar xml files upon discovering the existence of such files in key "hive.additional.config.files". The read in config will be able to overwrite/supplement LDAP or other settings in hive-site.xml.
TestHiveConf unit test makes a backup copy of the hive-site.xml in common/target/testconf/ directory, appends 2 entries in hive-site.xml in order to test the functionality. Once tested, it removes ldap-site.xml, and also restores the original hite-site.xml.
