13-RC2: What's New: Error while loading content

Just downloaded and tried 13-rc2 and noticed on the "What's New" page that
it indicates "Error while loading content".

Is this to be expected for rc caliber release or is there an issue here?

On Windows 10 with
openjdk version "11.0.13" 2021-10-19
OpenJDK Runtime Environment Temurin-11.0.13+8 (build 11.0.13+8)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM Temurin-11.0.13+8 (build 11.0.13+8, mixed mode)

Works for me. That's loading the blog. There could be a minor infra
issue with the server.

Deleted C:\Users\..\AppData\Roaming\NetBeans\13-rc3\, restarted and it
shows.

Assume this was caused by something in the "imported" / remaining in the
user cached areas.

But why would using old user values interfere here?

I have seen this with Windows 10, with netbeans 13-rc2

openjdk version "11.0.13" 2021-10-19
OpenJDK Runtime Environment Temurin-11.0.13+8 (build 11.0.13+8)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM Temurin-11.0.13+8 (build 11.0.13+8, mixed mode)

I may be in HiDP (my Display Resolution indicates 3840 x2160) but not sure
how that aligns to HiDP in other context and OS

Correction - the tabs do work.. but they suffer from the bug with Java (Swing?) on macOS that makes it nearly impossible to click things… if the mouse moves at all, *less than* a single pixel during the click, it doesn’t count. It may be more sensitive due to a retina display? I actually have to lift my mouse off the work surface most of the time to do a click on certain items. There are many buttons or links within the UI that don’t seem to have this problem. E.g. hitting the okay or close button on a dialog doesn’t have the problem, clicking a link under “Recent Projects” doesn’t seem to have the problem, sleeting editor windows doesn’t have the problem, selecting nodes in the project tree doesn’t have the problem… but definitely any clicks in the editor gutter area do, and the tabs on the “Start Page” as mentioned.

It always does this for me. I think on rare occasions I’ve seen it work in the past.
(maOS 12.2, JDK 17.0.2 - Zulu)

I don’t have any odd network settings (no proxy or anything).

What I’ve also noticed is that the tabs (Learn & Discover, My NetBeans, What’s New) on that page don’t work either, you can’t switch away for the non-functional “What’s New” tab. Possibly it is related.
