[jira] [Commented] (CALCITE-5556) Mention usage of Quidem in Contributing section of docs

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CALCITE-5556?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17696356#comment-17696356 ]

Julian Hyde commented on CALCITE-5556:
--------------------------------------

Also, each .iq file should be self-describing. A couple of lines describing what Quidem is, how to run it. (No more than a couple, or the documentation will go stale.)

> Mention usage of Quidem in Contributing section of docs

>
> Key: CALCITE-5556
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CALCITE-5556
> Project: Calcite
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Reporter: Askar Bozcan
> Priority: Trivial
>
> I believe usage of Quidem in tests should be mentioned in Contributing section of the docs, as otherwise new contributors are likely to waste some time trying to find what created the .iq files.
