[jira] [Issue Comment Deleted] (FALCON-247) Add scripts to check the status of falcon and prism

Venkatesh Seetharam updated FALCON-247:
---------------------------------------

    Comment: was deleted

(was: I have a minor nit here. Unfortunately this was committed.

There is org.apache.falcon.client.FalconClient.AdminOperations which encapsulates all resources for admin. Ideally, status should have been one of them instead of being outside so code is reused.

Also, the rest api documentation is missing. This is a big one IMO and needs to be fixed else we will never get to it.

Thanks and sorry for the late review.)

> In order to know if falcon server and prism are running, it could be helpful to provide status scripts.
> These scripts can also be interesting in monitoring scripts (like nagios, zabbix, etc) to check the current status of falcon/prism.
