subsite capability in jetspeed-1

Is there any "subsite" like capability in jetspeed-1 ? 
 
I am looking for a capability in which the initial page displayed to the
user is based upon factors such as session variable or URL. 
 
For example, site1.abc.com would show the initial page for all "site1" users
whereas site2.abc.com would show a different initial page for all "site2"
users. 
 
Any pointers or help is greatly appreciated.
