I've deployed the latest WARs to planetstruts.org, which includes the OGNL expression fix.
In testing the Showcase, I came up with seven notes. Items (1), (2), (3) might be minor issues or problems with the example itself. Item (4) pertains to refining the example itself. Items (5), (6), (7) are labeling problems that I'll fix before tagging.
I'm not seeing anything serious here, so I'll have some coffee and proceed with the tagging within the hour.

At Ajax/Remote button tag <http://planetstruts.org/struts2-showcase/ajax/remotebutton/>
The second item is labelled "A submit button, with "notifyTopics", when clicked, an alert box reports "Inside a topic event. type=before"
Which doesn't seem like a nominal response, :) though the Result div does seem to reload and change.
The same thing happens from <http://localhost:8080/struts2-showcase/ajax/remotediv/> for #8 ("A div that will .. publish notifyTypeics)

At Tags/Non-UI Tags Example /<http://planetstruts.org/struts2-showcase/tags/non-ui/> the "Iterator Generator Tag" example asks for a separator, but it doesn't seem to use it.

At Validation/Field valdators with client-side JavaScript <http://planetstruts.org/struts2-showcase/validation/clientSideValidationExample.action>, the regex validator fires even when empty.

As an implementation note, at Ajax/Remote button tag <http://planetstruts.org/struts2-showcase/ajax/remotebutton/>, the final example "Text to be echoed", clears the field before writing the new field, so the page seems to shimmer as if it were all being reloaded (though I know it is not).

The Ajax Hangman isn't "broken" anymore, but it does fail to report when a player wins.
