problem with latest apache_1.3.22-2.1_i386.deb

hello,

  i just upgrade apache and i have this problem :

  from httpd.conf :

  AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php3 .php4 .inc
  DirectoryIndex index.html index.php index.php3

  when i try to access http://url/ it does not work (browser
  ask to
  download the file)
  if i copy index.php test.php then try to access
  http://url/test.php,
  it WORKS.

  could you help me to resolve this strange problem ?
