nutch-default.xml reference

Welcome to all!
Can somebody point me out to a complete, concise reference to
nutch-default.xml? I understand the file is intended to be self-explanatory,
however there are few important configuration options which are not
presented there (like how to turn on indexing pdf and doc files, configuring
index-more, etc...).
Thanks a lot!
