Limitation of lucene indexing

i would like to know the limitation of lucene index.if anybody have
any links or ebooks please forward..

It seems you sent your question to the "solr-commits" mailing list. that
list exists solely for recieving notifications when changes have been
commited to the solr code base.
since your question is not specific to solr, you might want to consider
sending your question to the java-user mailing list ... but you may want
to search the mailing list archives first, since there has been some
discussion along this line in the past...
