I am hitting this issue in the Directory Studio M10 release and would like to upgrade my Directory Studio using the latest nightly build.

Can I simply install the new tar.gz and follow upgrade steps in the install wizard, or do I need to uninstall Directory Studio completely first?

If I need to uninstall completely, is there a particular way I should do it?
