I would like suggest performance and functionality improvements for XBlitter. This improvements based on XRender extension and allows drawing Images with native affine transformations and alpha composites. It also gives boost of drawing Transparent images up to 5 times as compared with our current XBlitter implementation and up to 45 % as compared with SUN 1.5 JDK implementation.

Dynamic loading of the libgl.so broke for me on linux.x86_64 after this commit. I've fixed it (and the ppc platforms) in r614168. This is the second time you've broken awt for me recently but these improvements are much appreciated. ;-)
