Here's the quote from the page:
"Apache 2.0 has been running on the Apache.org website since December of 2000
and has proven to be very reliable."
That's pretty misleading. Apache 2.0 might have been up for a while in December
2000 on somebody's test account, but it wasn't reliable enough to put into
production until February 2001.

nope
google for "unexpected reloc type"
it could be a mismatch in tools (e.g., downleve glibc doesn't
understand libraries built by uplevel ld)

BTW, I get this error for the past couple of days after
I decided to upgrade to version 2.0 and it's driving me nuts:
/home/httpd//bin/httpd: error while loading shared libraries: unexpected
reloc type 0x20
/home/httpd/bin/apachectl start: httpd could not be started
Server information:
Linux domain.com 2.2.16-22 #1 Tue Aug 22 16:16:55 EDT 2000 i586 unknown
I tried make, gmake and a lot of suggested configure/compile options.
Have you ever seen this?

I believe that December 2000 is correct. There were alpha releases of
Apache 2.0 in Y2000.
(yes, it has taken a long time :) )
