MyFaces Site

Hi *,

I understand we'll have to fix some last bugs before we release main -
in the meantime, can we deploy the website as is right now?

And automatic redeployment?

regards,

Martin

Martin,

I think you're right about just getting the site out there and letting
people fix it as we go. I checked in a bunch of stuff to start tying
the website together. I will submit an official [proposal] email
later this week once the final product is ready.

In the meantime, there are plenty of things to be added. In
particular we need descriptions for some of the project overview pages
as well as some nice maven instructions.

True. The information is getting very out of date. I promise to help
out in another day or so. Just need a few more tweaks to the stupid
maven release process ... In the meantime are you sure all of the
major changes (such as commons) are documented on the site?

Well, it wasn't that much. Not worth looking at it ;)

Still, I do think it will get faster done if it is the main website we
talk about. Plus, the old website has so much wrong information on it
right now it's getting ridiculous ;)

Martin

My mistake. I did not see your commits. Let me look at what you've
done then. At the moment I am trying to release our maven and commons
projects so we can get closer to a release. Once that's done I will
pitch in on the website while others finish up testing the potential
core release.

ok, all clear...

I did do some fixes so far - so it wasn't no-one... Anyone else stepping up?

However, I do think that fixes will get done faster if the feedback
loop is the main website!

By the way, the site is being autodeployed to my personal directory so
we can all easily stay in the loop on this should people start
stepping up and making the changes.

We still have a lot of work to do on the site. A while back I posted
an email suggesting that people take a look at the site and start
making some of the obvious fixes (while ignoring style changes for the
moment.)

So far nobody has done anything.
