SGA for Kafka
We should get this paperwork out of the way. Can someone arrange for LinkedIn to submit an SGA to the ASF?
Please read
http://incubator.apache.org/guides/mentor.html#initial-ip-clearance
for more details.
Regards,
Alan

The one that LinkedIn already did is probably corporate CLA.

I've looked in the foundation documents and I found no ccla from
LinkedIn.
Can you give me a date range to search?
Craig
P.S. A CCLA can be used for both purposes: code grant and declaration
of employees who are authorized to commit work that might belong to
the licensor.

IIUC, the CCLA is a declaration that LinkedIn employees are allowed to write new code to the project. It does not cover the donation of the original codebase to the ASF. I could be wrong on this.

Alan,
I am actually a bit confused. LinkedIn already filed a corporate CLA with
Apache. Is that not enough?
Thanks,
Jun
