Javascript confirmation message

Hi!
  
  Does any one knows a way to display a javascript confirmation box such as
  "Do you wish to delete this record? (Yes/No)" when the user clicks the submit button?
  
  I know there's a way to do this:
  
<input jwcid="submitButton" onclick="javascript:return confirm('OK to 
submit?');" ... />

But the message is hard coded in HTML template. How do we handle L10N?
