[jira] [Created] (HBASE-18567) VerifyReplication does not show any
mistmatch if source table has no data
Vishal Khandelwal created HBASE-18567:
-----------------------------------------
Summary: VerifyReplication does not show any mistmatch if source table has no data
Key: HBASE-18567
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-18567
Project: HBase
Issue Type: Bug
Reporter: Vishal Khandelwal
Assuming situation when source table does not have any data where as DR has data. In such case if we run Verify Replication from pr it says no mismatch whereas if you run from DR, it as X ROWS only in Primary
where as if you atleast 1 row in primary it would show correct behvaiour like 1 GOOD and X ONLY IN PEER.
This give in consistent results and also veirifyreplication is no more idempotent.
This behavior is true for search with filter, timerange etc.
