[jira] [Updated] (HBASE-10773) Make use of ByteRanges in HFileBlock
instead of ByteBuffers
ramkrishna.s.vasudevan updated HBASE-10773:
-------------------------------------------
Attachment: HBASE-10772_3.patch
Just attaching a patch for reference with BR was tried to replace BBs. The reason for introducing Immutable and mutable BRs what that in the HfileBlocks there was an intention to use blocks in the read only mode. So using BRs has that capability now where Immutable BRs can be used as read only.

> Replacing BBs with Byte Ranges in block cache as part of HBASE-10772, would help in replacing BBs with BRs in HFileBlock also.
