little correction, should read:

> Example 1 with a BaseConfiguration (OK):
> conf1 = new BaseConfiguration();
> conf1.addProperty( "key", "value1" ); // "key" --> "value1"
> conf1.addProperty( "key", "value2" ); // "key" --> [ "value1", "value2" ]
> 
> Example 2 with a MapConfiguration (BAD):
> conf2 = new MapConfiguration( new HashMap() );
> conf2.addProperty( "key", "value1" ); // "key" --> "value1"
> conf2.addProperty( "key", "value2" ); // "key" --> "value2" : CONTRACT NOT
RESPECTED!
