DNS problems with apache.org (fwd)

FYI. Note that for purposes of the updated rules downloaded via
"sa-update", this would constitute a DoS rather than a possible avenue of
compromise; all of our official update channels are signed using GPG keys.

Subject: DNS problems with apache.org

Some of you may be experiencing DNS issues related
to apache.org- ie difficulty sending email or connecting
to ASF websites.

At this time, the best explanation is a possible
compromise at our registrar which caused our name
servers to temporarily point at incorrect entries.
We believe this is fixed and are investigating further.
However, due to the nature of DNS, bad cache entries
may continue to exist.

Infrastructure is investigating further to ensure
this does not recur.
