[jira] Created: (INFRA-2351) lucene.zones.apache.org is down

lucene.zones.apache.org is down
-------------------------------

                 Key: INFRA-2351
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-2351
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Bug
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
          Components: Zones
            Reporter: Hoss Man

lucene.zones.apache.org appears to be down (it does not respond to pings)

The date stamps on artifacts normally produced by crons that run in this zone on a daily basis suggest it has been down since approximately November 15th.

Nothing in the zones doucmentation suggests an obvious way for the PMC to "reboot" or "boot" the zone ourselves, but if this is something we can deal with self service please let us know...

[jira] Updated: (INFRA-2351) lucene.zones.apache.org and all zones on helios are down

Hoss Man updated INFRA-2351:
----------------------------

Summary: lucene.zones.apache.org and all zones on helios are down (was: lucene.zones.apache.org is down)

FYI: although zones aren't listed on the apache infra status page, helios (the physical box running the zones) is listed...

http://monitoring.apache.org/status/

I should have checked that before opening this issue, because apparently there is a disk error affecting it (and as a result: most of the zones machines)...
