Lucene Performance Problem

Hi.

We are running JSPWiki 2.6.3 on Tomact with an Oracle Backend using  
DBCP. The machine has as 1.86 GhZ Dual XEON CPU with 2 GB of RAM. The  
Wiki has about 10.000 pages. When running search queries which yields  
a resultset of > 900 pages, the search is very slow (up to 15  
seconds). Is there a good way to tune LUCENE (or maybe a known bug in  
2.6.3)?
