[ANNOUNCE] Apache SkyWalking 8.1.0 released

Hi all,

Apache SkyWalking Team is glad to announce the first release of Apache
SkyWalking 8.1.0.

SkyWalking: APM (application performance monitor) tool for distributed
systems,
especially designed for microservices, cloud native and container-based
(Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos) architectures.

This release contains a number of new features, bug fixes and improvements
compared to
version 8.0.1. The notable changes since 8.1.0 include:

1. Support Kafka as an optional trace, JVM metrics, profiling snapshots and
meter system data transport layer.
2. Support Meter system, including the native metrics APIs and the Spring
Sleuth adoption.
3. Support JVM thread metrics.
