Rick Hillegas commented on DERBY-1362:
--------------------------------------

For sanity's sake, I ran derbyall against the jarfiles. It ran cleanly except for the wisconsin noise and for getImportedKeys() output in Upgrade_10_1_10_2--I don't think this change to the build caused that diff. Committed at subversion revision 412207.

I think this is an error. The original fix was DERBY-612, the change there only modifies the wihtout osgi target. It should have been both targets. Or even better, find a way to have a common target.

Rick Hillegas commented on DERBY-1362:
--------------------------------------

I believe the problem is that I built the snapshot on a system with an osgi.jar visible in trunk/tools/java. This causes the jar file building target to invoke a different subtarget. If osgi.jar is not present, then derby.jar is built by the derbyjarwithoutosgi target, which includes a Class-Path header in the manifest. However, if osgi.jar is present, then derby.jar is built by the derbyjarwithosgi target, which does not include a Class-Path header and instead includes a DynamicImport-Package header.

Is this deliberate or is this an error?

Attaching bug1362_1.diff. This factors the common manifest-building code into its own target. I have verifed that with and without osgi.jar, the manifest now contains the Class-Path header. Touches the following file:
