Re: Newbie persistence question

Thank you very much for your reply.

Unfortunately, I do not know what the difference between a queue and a
topic. The simple Python examples I am working with don't seem to use
either concept. You can see my source code in the thread I started
immediately before I started this one, titled "Problems installing and
running examples on Windows 7".

I tried reading the documents listed in the sidebar, but it seemed to me
they didn't say very much. One referred me to the ActiveMQ web site,
activemq.org, but that site did not respond.

What would you recommend for a total newbie to get up to speed using
ActiveMQ?

Thanks again!

RobR

Read the FAQ: http://activemq.apache.org/faq.html

Read some articles: http://activemq.apache.org/articles.html

Read the books: http://activemq.apache.org/books.html

Basically, you need to do your homework.
