error message DBD: No driver for oracle

Hi list,

i am trying to use apache http with mod_dbd, mod_authn_dbd and oracle. For this i installed apr and apr-util 1.3 in /usr/local/apr. Then i compiled apache http referencing  apr/apu 1.3. When using the directive "DBDriver oracle" i still get the error message "DBD: No driver for oracle". The oracle driver ist installed in /usr/local/apr/lib/apr-util-1/apr_dbd_oracle.so. Why doesn't apu find it?
