xerces 1.4.0 crashed at DOMParser::parse(char*, bool)

Hi, 
 
We ran into intermittent problem of core dumping at DOMParser::parser(char*, bool) sometimes in a mult-threaded program, compiled with SunWorkshop 6U2, C++ 5.3 in SunOS 5.8. We're using xerces-C 1.4.0     
 
Does anyone have similar experience and idea?
