SVN / Slide / OpenCMS / jCIFS

Hi all,

 

I just want to ask some basic questions about Lenya:

 

- Does Lenya use SVN for versioning or Slide/DeltaV?

- What is it benefits compare to OpenCMS?

- Can we integrate it with jCIFS for Windows based authentication?

it appears to me this would be a case where mocks should be used.

i wouldnt want to ship jcifs with lenya by default.

I guess Doug wouldn't mind if we add it to Lenya, but

jcifs itself is LGPL

and can't be shipped with Lenya.

What about setting up a page with third party software?
Or what are the alternatives?

Doug Chestnut has contributed a patch that implements authentication
with CIFS. 

The patch can be found in Bugzilla

XML, XSLT, Cocoon in general and the overall architecture

There is currently a Lenya specific and LDAP authentication implemented.
Other authenticators can be added without any problem by extending the 
generic
authenticator.
