I am running Apache 2.0.40 on Windows 2000 5.00.2195 SP3.
When I attempt to shut down the
server via the Apache Monitor the shutdown does not complete. The Services applet indicates
"Apache 2 Stopping..." Eventually Stop:0x00000076 PROCESS_HAS_LOCKED_PAGES occurs.
With registry hacked to include
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory
Management\TrackLockedPages 1 the stop message becomes STOP:0x000000CB
DRIVER_LEFT_LOCKED_PAGES_IN_PROCESS and points to afd.sys. (Ancillary Function Driver for
WinSock)
My afd.sys is dated 7/22/2002 12:05 PM and is version 5.00.2195.4667

The problem is intermittent but often.
It usually occurs while I have my browser, Opera 6.04 Build 1135, open and viewing a page on
localhost, though it has also occurred with IE 5.00.3502.1000 viewing a page on localhost.
