[jira] [Commented] (YUNIKORN-102) How to uninstall Yunicorn in quickstart page is not complete

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YUNIKORN-102?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17087688#comment-17087688 ]

Adam Antal commented on YUNIKORN-102:
-------------------------------------

Is this still an issue as YUNIKORN-97 is resolved? I mean, we're not installing the admission controller by default so there's no need to manually delete that later.

Regarding the ConfigMap though, it is important to include that it does not delete that.

> The [QuickStart page |https://github.com/apache/incubator-yunikorn-core/blob/master/docs/user-guide.md#quick-start] has a one step uninstall guide:
>
> {code:java}
> helm uninstall yunikorn --namespace yunikorn-ns
> {code}
> This step will not uninstall the admission controller and the configmap.
> Also, the uninstall command differs from helm versions. For example in Helm 2 instead of {{helm uninstall}} we have to use {{helm delete}}.
