juli LogRecord -> LoggingEvent converter

Has anyone written a java.util.LogRecord converter to a log4j
LoggingEvent? Am I missing something or has no-one tried to create a
juli Handler that simply converts the LogRecord into a LoggingEvent
and posts it into the log4j hierarchy.

Sort of a Receiver sucking in logging events into log4j so that it
can be managed in one environment.

yeah, well I figured it wasn't _difficult_, I'm just not sure why we
never provided one for use by users of log4j.

Should I whip one up and put it somewhere.. ? Would be a companion
jar to log4j-1.2 and above.. ?
