adding SSH support is always a wish list item; feel free to implement it.

rolling an ant own brand secure protocol is a non starter because we'd end up
getting it wrong *and* require new stuff server side, that ops always hates. 

finally. WebDAV w/ digest auth; works nicely with winXP, MacOS X and maybe linux
DAV filesystems, lets you use <copy>.
