[jira] [Created] (SOLR-8860) Remove back-compat handling of router
format made in SOLR-4221
Shalin Shekhar Mangar created SOLR-8860:
-------------------------------------------
Summary: Remove back-compat handling of router format made in SOLR-4221
Key: SOLR-8860
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-8860
Project: Solr
Issue Type: Task
Components: SolrCloud
Reporter: Shalin Shekhar Mangar
Assignee: Shalin Shekhar Mangar
Priority: Minor
Fix For: master, 6.1
SOLR-4221 changed how router information is stored in cluster state from a simple string to a map. There was back-compat handling added to ensure that new clients can continue to index to an old cluster so that rolling upgrades are supported. We don't need that anymore.
