upgrade commons-httpclient3.1 to httpclient4.2

Hi All

We found commons-httpclient3.1 does not support ipv6 but httpclient4.2 does
support ipv6.

How to upgrade commons-httpclient3.1 to httpclient4.2 without changing
existing code that use httpclient3.1 extensively?
You know , there are much different between this 2 versions, at least
package name and class names are totally different.

Thnaks
Tony

In my experience, not possible (nor probably desirable).
