AMQ Message Store

I was looking for configuring Message Bus Performance in ServiceMix and I
found following link

The link talks about ActiveMQ 5.0 in ServiceMix. We are using ServiceMix
3.2.2 which is using Active MQ 4.1.1. 

Questions : 
a. Why the servicemix did not move to ActiveMQ 5.0 as it was released almost
4 months back ?
b. What exact steps need to be followed in order to use ActiveMQ 5.0 in
ServiceMix ? (Although it is mentioned in the link, but want to be sure)

ServiceMix 3.3 (not yet released) will include AMQ 5.x as will ServiceMix
4.  Upgrading a core dependency such as ActiveMQ in the middle of a point
release such as 3.2.2 is usually avoided unless there is a major bug.

Dave's blog entry above sums it up quite well and should work just fine.  It
has been a while since I did this myself, but I don't recall it taking more
than 10 minutes.
