File BC Clustering Support

Does the ServiceMix File Binding Component support clustered deployment
whereby each deployed endpoint in the cluster reliably reads files from a
directory on a shared file system? I suspect special lock accomodations are
required for such an implementation. Are these addressed by the SMX-file BC?
