milter-spamc -b vs -B

A question on this milter being used with sendmail and spamd....

if the -B option is used to direct spam to a "collection point", it
changes the original "received list" according to the docs. The -b
option keeps the list intact.

The current spamd has "autolearn enabled", but my first inclination is
that one might want access to the spam at a future date in an
"unaltered" state.

Which would be better based on people's past experience?
