Summary: The throughput response time is inconsistent
           Product: JMeter
           Version: 2.2
          Platform: Other
               URL: http://rewrite of api
                    server/triggerApplication?apiKey,sourceAddress,channel,c
                    onsumerAddress
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: HTTP
        AssignedTo: jmeter-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: deepa.kethe@flytxt.com

We are using the Jmeter for performance testing.
The throughput response time for 2 consumers is 1.8/min and for 1000 consumers
it is 1.2/sec which is wrong

And also could you please suggest what setting shoudl i change so that the
throughput response time is always /sec

Why is it wrong? How long did the test last, and how many requests were
processed?

As to always showing the throughput response RATE in seconds - that needs a
code change: please create a Bugzilla enhancement request.

You can use Run / Clear All to clear out any old samples, if that is what you
mean.

Hi thanks for the reply.I have found the problem .It always calculated for the
number of samples that are run.Can u suggest me a method where it can make the
samples number as 0(zero).As of now i have to open the testplan each time so
that i can see how long does it take to run just one sample of an API call
I have run api call for one consumer thread with loop count as 1
