Slide Oracle Store: ORA-01461 -> Upload error for items > 4K
Hi,
I recently get an error with the Oracle store during file uploads (I run JBoss 3.23 and Oracle9i 9.2.0.4.0), which didn't occur before.
- I have a store running with lots of items already in it.
- I checked out the latest files.
Interestingly I can't rebuild a working version with the beta from 10th August either. I did my working build somewhen around the 20th August.
Has anyone the same problems with the Oracle store ?

Tx Oliver.
I did a complete checkout of all sources again and made a clean build from that.
The issue is resolved. Seems I must have had some inconsistency in a crucial place :(
I hope I wasted mostly only my time on this.

I do not use the Oracle store, so I am of little help. However, the
only change to classes that might be concerned with storing blobs
since 31st August seems to be the calculation of the content length.
This may be the problem you experience as the SQL error indicates a
long is tried to be saved to a NUMBER(10) field.
As the changes made there seem pretty reasonable could you try and
revert *only* CommonRDBMSAdapter to version 1.6 (which will be the
one checked out on 31st of August) and report back if this fixes your
problem.
