Has anyone created a webmail portal?

A few weeks ago (and a couple times before then as well) there were threads
started by someone creating a portlet which accessed email. Has anyone
created a portlet (or other means) to integrate users' webmail/inboxes into
Jetspeed?

TIA,
Steve B.

Some people talked about writing a webmail portlet, but we never heard back
from them.
Its on high on my list for after the 1.3a2 release

GlueCode did have a mail portlet that can authenticate against any POP3 or
IMAP server. To get the code, download the rpm and explode it in Linux.

I ran into a Jetspeed-based open source portal at this URL:
http://www.gluecode.com. Checking out their documentation it seems that they
have a mail portlet. I wasn't able to download the source code though. Also,
their portal works only under Linux (????).
