Which docs directory?

All,

Our website is based on
https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf?p=incubator-ponymail-site.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/asf-site

However, these docs seem more up to date.
https://github.com/apache/incubator-ponymail/tree/master/docs

Should I sync them? Should we move to a different doc strategy (e.g.
automate the build of our repo against the asf-site branch?)

John

Whatever is decided needs to be documented please.

It's generally easier to maintain the code docs if they are stored
alongside the code itself.
However there is some ASF site stuff that is not directly relevant to the code.

It would be nice if the shared docs could be maintained in the code
repo (and so visible on GH) and automatically merged into the ASF
website somehow.
