Showstopper ... Solaris 2.6 build problems...

Second attempt...if any of you are building Xerces on Solaris 2.6...please 
comment.

I'm using Cygnus GNUPro 98r1 tool chain.

These appear to be members of libc.  Other small sample test programs using 
towupper() link and run just fine.
