[Issue 124602] New: Upon reopening Open Office from a crash, it is
blocked on dialogue box to reopen windows
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=124602
Issue ID: 124602
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Upon reopening Open Office from a crash, it is blocked
on dialogue box to reopen windows
Product: Writer
Version: 4.0.1
Hardware: Mac
OS: Mac OSX, 10.9
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: blocker
Priority: P3
Component: open-import
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: cslaude@mac.com
Upon reopening Open Office from a crash, I am presented with a dialog box that
says:
"The last time you opened OpenOffice, it unexpectedly quit while reopening
windows. Do you want to try to reopen its windows again?
If you choose not to reopen windows, you may have to open and position the
windows yourself.'
there are two buttons: "Don't Reopen" and "Reopen". Both are clickable, but
neither closes the box. If the box itself weren't annoying enough, you can't
access any of the menu items, but you can click on one of the links of the
start screen to open an new document. but you can't open an existing OO
document, and if you try to open pdfs, for instance, they open in your default
web browser.
