Re: Aries Board Report Jan/Feb/Mar 2017

Hi,

Is there anything more to add to the report? Please go ahead and make the
changes. I'll take a look tomorrow and do any I can see are needed and
commit into the Board's agenda file before the 5pm UTC deadline.

Regards,
Jeremy

Oh and the JIRA and mailing figures - I updated them based on what
reporter.apache.org said.

Ok, I made the changes. Please take a look.
Christian, technically Dominik isn't in the PMC until the board
acknowledges our request to them, so I modified the report accordingly.
Please take a look at the text for the Tom / Raymond access delay - as it
stood I think we would have had some corrections from the board. But if you
don't agree with what I've said, please say.

Deadline is 10:30 PDT

I have a few mods ... in particular I've re-read the instructions for PMC
and I believe there always was a way of creating a new apache ID and having
access granted without involving the Chair (ahem me). So that should have
worked for Tom. But for existing Apache committers not in the 'aries' unix
group, that needs the Chair.

There are some dates that need changing (should be release dates not vote
start dates). and I'll add the aries-rsa release.

That worked. I added the latest PMC addition.
From my side we are ready to go with the report.

I had another look at the cwiki admin page and was able to make give
confluence users write access. I guess that's ok. I could not select the
aries unix group - apparently these are not integrated.

@Christian would you like to try editing again?

Cheers,

Is there a way of adding the whole of the aries unix group? Or do we have
to manually add people as they get added to the group?

Yeah, the wiki requires editors to be registered separately with their
confluence ID. If you send me yours I'll add you as an editor.

Definitely!

I do not seem to have the rights to edit the wiki page.
We should add Dominik as latest new PMC member as he has accepted.
