I thinik I am getting same error.

FOP_VERSION = FOP 0.15
FOP_VERSION_NO = 0.15
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
        at org.apache.cocoon.Engine.handle(Engine.java:484)
        at org.apache.cocoon.EngineWrapper.handle(EngineWrapper.java:87)
        at org.apache.cocoon.Cocoon.main(Cocoon.java:311)

Is your patch not included in any version? I would like to avoid 
re-compilation if possible.

Does anybody know which version of Cocoon work as is (without 
re-compilation) for standalone use?
